Swift has a means to attend in person as she will be performing in Tokyo just before the Super Bowl.
Beyond just being an A-list couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are: They have brought new fans to the NFL and merged the worlds of pop culture, music, and the sport. Since they started dating, the two have encouraged each other’s professional endeavours by attending sporting events together.
Swift’s “The Era’s Tour” performances have been attended by Kelce, and the celebrity singer is frequently spotted supporting the Kansas City Chiefs both at home and away.
The Chiefs were in the AFC Championship for the sixth time in a row. They advanced to their second straight and fourth in five years by defeating the Baltimore Ravens, 17-10. Swift witnessed the Kansas City Rams defeat the Baltimore Ravens while she was in Baltimore. Although she will probably attend the Super Bowl to support her team once more, things will be a little harder this time.
The week before Kelce plays in Super Bowl LVIII, Swift has a performance set in Tokyo. On Saturday, February 10 at 6 p.m. Tokyo time (JST), she will perform her last show of the Japan leg. On Sunday, February 11 at 6:30 p.m. ET, is Super Bowl Sunday.
She does have some time—though not much—to make the big play thanks to this. But time zones are helpful.
Since Tokyo is 14 hours ahead of the East Coast, her return trip to the US will be somewhat easier because she will be travelling back in time.
Swift doesn’t take the stage at the start of the performance. As she has been doing throughout the tour, if she takes the stage at approximately 8 p.m. local time and plays for more than three hours, she will be on stage until at least 11 p.m. Tokyo time. Swift is fortunate not to have to worry about lengthy security lines at the airport or delayed flights, but getting to the game will still take some time.
After a 10- to 12-hour journey, departing at midnight JST, she would arrive in Las Vegas between 10 a.m. and noon JST, or between 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET on Saturday. It’s not as simple as booking a flight and being set to go, even though this gives her less than a day’s notice to make the game. Swift is renowned for her unwavering commitment to her tour and her fans—she never settles for less than 100%.
Swift will undoubtedly feel a little tired after performing in front of tens of thousands of fans for four days in a row. She has already discussed how draining it is to give back-to-back performances. The Grammy winner claims that she rests the day following the string of performances.
“I do not leave my bed except to get food and take it back to my bed and eat it there,” Swift told Time. It’s an ideal situation. I have been singing for the last three shows, so much so that I can hardly speak. Because I’m dancing in heels, my feet crunch under every stride I take.”
Performers require time to recuperate from performances, much like an NFL player does after a game. Even if she can make it to the game in time, it will undoubtedly be taxing because screaming and yelling at a football game is obviously not the same as lying in bed and remaining silent.
The Chiefs will play the No. 1 San Francisco 49ers or the No. 3 Detroit Lions, the winners of the NFC Championship.
